Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction at Lenox Hill Hospital

Dr. Rodriguez is the Program Director for the Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction at Lenox Hill Hospital. A fellow is an orthopaedic surgeon who has completed his or her training and chooses to spend a year focusing on a subspecialty within Orthopaedic Surgery. The fellows are an integral part of patient care in the office and in the hospital. During this one-year intensive experience, the two fellows are exposed to various aspects of diagnosis, treatment, and management of hip and knee disorders. Both fellows see new patients, follow-up patients, and, during rounds, postoperative patients, and assist in the surgical procedures. Fellows are also a critical part of the research mission of our practice, and spend a portion of their time performing patient and x-ray analysis, and calling patients to see how they are progressing with their joints in the years following the surgery.
